At the heart of the Valley Vikings Netball Club are our members and volunteers. Whether it's giving up time to coach, to be a part of our community or give time to support at events, our club doesn't run without our volunteers.
Our volunteers work full time jobs, run businesses, have families & busy lives, but they still dedicate their time & dedication to ensure the smooth and successful running our Netball Club.
Volunteering can be as small or big as you want it to be. From coordinating events, running the bar at events, cooking a bbq, coordinating our carnivals, scheduling our umpires, to supporting our teams, our volunteers manage it all. They are parents, fans, former and current players, and local community members, who share a common goal: to make our netball club a great success and the club of choice within the area.
Our volunteers have a diverse background, and skills set, making them the best team to take on any challenge. They are all committed to the journey we are on & all bring a love & dedication to the club.
You don't have to be on the committee to volunteer, you can be part of a wider sub team, or just give up an hour of your time to help.
This club wouldn't run or be where we are today, without the ongoing support from our volunteers, so thank you to everyone who has given up their time to support our club.
If you are interested in being involved in some way, please reach out.

Our teams can't take court without the great support of our fantastic umpires.
We always have opportunities & are looking for umpires at all levels to join our club.
Whether you are an experienced umpire or just fancy having a go, please reach out & let us know.
Every team needs a coach; a mentor, a guide and an inspiration.
Could this be you?
Our coaches love their roles and love seeing the development in their teams throughout the season.
Most of our coaches are either parents, committee members, past players or current players, but they all have one thing in common - they love netball and seeing the development within their team across the season.
All of our coaches are supported by a coach coordinator and offered training.
You also don't have to coach alone. If you think you may be interested but don't feel you could commit to every week, feel free to team up with someone and you form a coaching team. If it works for you, it could work for us.
If you think you might be interested, please reach out & have a chat to one of our Executive Committe members or our Coach Coordinator.
Our club runs entirely because of amazing volunteers who organise everything from matches, uniforms, social events, running the bar, umpires etc.
Do you have your RSA? Or would you be interested in joining the committee?
This doesn't have to take hours of your time. Reach out to find out more today!
